The 18th GREEN WAY 2026 Symposium

The Future of Building Services and Energy-Saving Industry attracted 658 experts to Prague

Prague, 23rd October 2026 – Energy-saving measures, modern technologies and the future of the building services sector. These were the main themes of the 18th GREEN WAY 2026 Symposium, which took place on 20th and 21st October at the Autoklub ČR in Prague. The event, organised by the Society for Environmental Technology, welcomed a record number of 658 participants, including designers, energy specialists, scientists and construction contractors.

A programme full of innovations and practical experience

This year’s event addressed the sector’s current challenges. The lectures and discussions focused on reducing the energy consumption of buildings, modern ventilation systems, the efficient use of heat using heat pumps, and digital control of technologies. Thanks to the parallel programme sessions, each participant was able to tailor their schedule to their professional specialism.

As every year, our company, VENTIAIR, was once again in attendance at the symposium. As part of the technical programme, Mr. Filip Hainall gave a presentation on the topic “VENTIAIR units in practice – refurbishment”, which provided valuable examples and real-world experience of the deployment of these technologies in building refurbishments.

A space for networking, research and young talent

GREEN WAY reaffirmed its role as a key platform for sharing experience between academia and industry. Alongside the lectures, the symposium offered ample opportunity for networking and addressing specific technical challenges. The programme was further enriched by activities focused on innovation, including the UCEEB CONNECT session and a student competition, which showcased the next generation of specialists in the field.
